Baipenzhu Reservoir Inflow Flood Forecasting Based on a Distributed Hydrological Model

چکیده
For reservoir basins, complex underlying surface conditions, short flood confluence times, and concentrated water volumes make inflow forecasting difficult cause forecast accuracies to be low. Conventional models can no longer meet the required accuracy values for control operations. To give full play role of reservoirs in maximize use resources, high-precision is urgently needed as a support mechanism. In this study, Baipenzhu Reservoir Guangdong Province was selected study case, an scheme designed by physically based distributed hydrological model, Liuxihe model. The results show that model has strong applicability studied basin simulation are very accurate. This also found different Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data sources certain impact on structure but constructed both simulate process well. At same time, reflect spatial variation rainfall well, using Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm optimize initial parameters greatly reduce uncertainty forecasts. According China’s information standards, schemes two rated Grade A used real-time basin.

mortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...
15 صفحه اولA Grammatical Evolution Model for Reservoir Inflow Forecasting
This paper explores the feasibility of applying a grammatical evolution (GE) system and combines it with the genetic algorithm (GA) to establish the inflow predicting model of De-Chi Reservoir in central Taiwan. First, a GE is an evolutionary automatic programming type system, which can discover relationships among observed data and express them mathematically. Further, a GA was used with this ...
متن کاملA spatially distributed flash flood forecasting model
This paper presents a distributed model that is in operational use for forecasting flash floods in northern Austria. The main challenge in developing the model was parameter identification which was addressed by a modelling strategy that involved a model structure defined at the model element scale and multi-source model identification. The model represents runoff generation on a grid basis and...
متن کاملFuzzy model identification based on cluster estimation for reservoir inflow forecasting
Fuzzy theory appears to be extremely effective at handling dynamic, non-linear and noisy data, especially when the underlying physical relationships are not fully understood. Since hydrologists are still uncertain about many of the aspects of the physical processes in the watershed, fuzzy theory has proved to be a very attractive tool enabling them to investigate such problems. The effectivenes...
متن کاملReservoir Inflow Forecasting Using Neural Networks
In utilities using a mixture of hydroelectric and nonhydroelectric power, the economics of the hydroelectric plants depend upon the reservoir height and the inflow into the reservoir for several days into the future. Accurate forecasts of reservoir inflow allow the utility to feed proper amounts of fuel to individual plants, and to economically allocate the load between various non-hydroelectri...
